The role of the Salesforce.com Expert / Administrator and Data Seward is a critical role to assist the Cultural Institute with the redesign, redevelopment and administration of a new adoption of Salesforce.com (SFDC) to a specific product. The successful candidate will work closely with the team, cross-functional operations teams and all SFDC users incl. Content and Support teams to provide quick solutions and assist with setting up business processes to maximize the outcome thru applying SFDC’s best practice to the target product.

The ideal candidate must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the internal go¬to¬person/expert for the project team members to get the quick answer/suggestion related to every aspects of SFDC based on his/her knowledge/experience/quick-new¬learning (if needed).
  • Document system configuration and administrative processes.
  • Manage dashboards, reports, forms, templates, page layouts workflows and approvals, create and maintain custom objects, object relationships, standard and custom fields.
  • Gather requirements and implement configuration changes related to workflow and
approval processes
  • Develop and deliver customized training to project team per the needs.
  • Customize reporting and dashboards for various teams
  • Implement best practices: initial design, system maintenance, security, data integrity,
duplicates, backups, etc.
  • Recognize Salesforce usage problems and craft solutions
  • Coach team members on usage of Salesforce for 100% adoption
  • Understanding the biz context quickly from user teams
  • Map/reformat data from one format(like CSV) to other format (like Excel or Google spreadsheet)
  • Import/Export data from sources like CSV/Excel/Spreadsheet to Salesforce Objects
  • Track and work closely with cross-functional Operations teams to update and incorporate data in Salesforce records
  • Documentation of data operation processes and maintenance of site support
  • Make sure the data operation (esp. mass ones) to be done correctly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Solid skills of using MS-Excel/Google-Spreadsheet incl. formulas/functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Familiarity with Google Apps(Gmail, Calendar, Google spreadsheets)
  • Quick learner - need to be trained and self-learn Salesforce data import/export operation in first 2 weeks
  • 1-2+ years as SFDC admin with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud configurations for the user base greater than 15
  • Salesforce.com Administrator certification, 201 SFDC Developer certification as a big plus.
  • SFDC Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Solid ability to gather, document and execute detailed specifications from high¬ level
requirements with little supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
