For our client – leading global IT consulting & digital solutions provider we are looking for Head of IT

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Managing the development, maintenance, upgrading and support of the Company’s IT systems.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and expert advice on system upgrades and/or the implementation of new products.
  • Providing support of all software packages used for key business applications and processes.
  • Providing clear procedures and training to all relevant staff to optimise productivity and accuracy.
  • Maintaining existing knowledge and seek new software developments within the wider IT environment and recommend new innovative and pioneering applications to the business. Champion those development you believe will bring about cost savings, efficiencies or sales advantages.
  • Manage the process of building stable and long term relationships with external service providers.
  • Manage the development of the IT team including training, appraisals, disciplinary actions and recruitment.
  • Ensure the security of all data and the system integrity and that a DR recovery is undertaken on a regular basis.
  • Provide daily support in terms of helpdesk resolution and general IT related issues.
Wymagania

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

  • Proven track record at a senior level.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the computer systems and their application in a service business environment.
  • Demonstrate their knowledge and enthusiasm for IT innovation and implementation.
  • Ability to explain complex IT issues to all grades of personnel.
  • Be able to undertake project management and deliver to agreed timelines.
  • Must have experience of business software systems (e.g. CRM, ERP, Sage).
  • Good time management skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and excellent technical awareness.
  • Solid verbal and interpersonal communication skills are critical.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Good administration skills

2. Good level of written and oral communication

3. Conversant with web and android applications

4. Conversant with M SQL, backups and maintenance, T-SQL, SSRS

5. Experience of virtualised environments such as VN Ware

6. Conversant with Systems/Cyber security

7. Backup and Mstore technologies

8. Network Infrastructure, VPNS, DNS
