Job description

For our client, growing Shared Service Center in Poznań, we are looking for candidates for the position of :

Senior GL Accountant with English

Key responsibilities :

  • Perform month end closing activities: Prepare Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations and ensure proper preparation and reconciliation of reports and accounts
  • USGAAP reporting according to group requirements
  • Support controls SOX related
  • Cooperation with local controlling department located in US (work time hours in line with European time)
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar education as a qualified accountant
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in GL, by preference in an SSC environment
  • Good knowledge of English is required
  • Ability to work according to specific procedures, to US GAAP/ STATUTORY accounting rules
  • Ability to plan day to day activities in order to fulfill all the closing tasks on time
