Job description

We are looking for General Ledger Accountants to join a growing team in our client's office in the centre of Warsaw.

Main duties will include:

  • Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time in compliance with the US GAAP and local statutory accounting standards
  • Perform account reconciliation (Accruals, Interco, Prepayments) as well as subledger reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all G/L transactions; maintaining US GAAP financial standards
  • Co-ordination and processing of month end closings and financial reporting; provide variance analysis;
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives and track service level achievements.
Requirements
  • min. 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting
  • solid experience with IFRS
  • US GAAP experience will be considered an asset
  • fluent English – mandatory requirement
  • ERP experience required, SAP experience will be considered an asset
  • experience in process transition willl be an asset
