Job description

For our Client, well known Shared Service Center in Poznań, we are looking for candidates for the position of Controlling Team Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the controlling team in a newly formed shared service centre of a globally leading German manufacturer of premium household appliances
  • Performing operative tasks and help managing the controlling operations in the beginning (50%)
  • Support to set-up the entire accounting and controlling function in the start phase of the shared service centre
  • Performing reviews of results from the team
  • Manage the resources available to achieve the task assigned in time, accuracy, and within planned cost
  • Managing the team in order to process the financial activities, supporting the business and achieving high performance and efficiency
  • Support the planning activities of the local entities (Sales quantity planning, turnover and gross profit planning and investment planning)
  • Prepare necessary reports and information for different stakeholders
  • Managing of controlling master data
  • Check and ensure the plausibility of actual data assignments and enrichments
  • Check, reconcile and if necessary correct actual values
  • Perform the controlling month-end closing
  • Support the local management reporting
  • Perform the product costing procedures for production plants
  • Support in the project controlling of R&D projects in the production plants
Requirements
  • Background in Finance & Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting of a shared service centre
  • Experience in leading small business teams
  • Professional experience in controlling
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Communication and presentation skills with problem solving skills and quality awareness
  • Fluent in Polish and English
  • Thinking and acting across organizational and process boundaries as well as independent, structured and result-oriented working methods
