Job description

Our job opportunity is a chance to expand your knowledge in an international company focused on helping clients make better data-driven commercial decisions. Our Client is looking for Cloud Engineer.

You will operate both as a client facing consulting role and supporting internal product development. Your Engineering skillset will be backed with a range of broad experiences across either software, infrastructure, or networking, but crucially you will also have hands-on experience of using Azure, AWS or GCP in production. You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge.

Requirements
  • 4+ years technical experience, with 2+ years’ experience of Cloud
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience of creating Cloud platform solutions and productionising them
  • Advanced experience of CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell, CLI) and experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.
  • Experience of leading migrations to the Cloud
  • Experience of setting up, deploying, and managing multiple environments
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with a variety of cloud-based services
  • At least one Cloud certification
  • Broad knowledge of deployment orchestration and configuration management tools (e.g Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Kubernetes etc.)
