Job description

For our client – a leader among international technology companies, we are looking for an ambitious Associate Manager Business Intelligence to join the newly created office based in Cracow.

As Associate Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Lead team of 5 -7 business intelligence professionals
  • Motivate and coach staff to continual success; identify and remove obstacles for team
  • Coordinate and oversee project development activities, progress, and status
  • Develop analytical frameworks, maintain roadmaps, set team priorities for the business intelligence team that align with the organization’s goals
  • Collaborate and develop relationships with other technical teams and business units to continuously support and identify opportunities to improve business decisions through analytics
  • Understand requirements and business workflows for assigned products
  • Participate in presentations, technical or process demonstrations
  • Manage performance objectives with employees; conduct performance reviews
  • Responsible for hiring of additional staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with focus in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related discipline
  • Mini. 3 years of experience guiding business intelligence or data science teams in a large data-volume environment
  • In-depth knowledge and application of commercial business intelligence tools or emerging technologies
  • Able to work well both independently and collaboratively, dependent on scope and requirements of effort
  • Proven communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; people leadership
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with focus in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related discipline
  • Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Azure tools and platforms
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
