Job description

We are expanding and looking for our Big Data team, a Senior Big Data Engineer based in Krakow. In this role, you will be part of a strategic high-performance team, architecting and developing innovative Big Data product solutions for Financial and Enterprise clients.

Requirements
  • You are passionate about Computer Science, Big Data and learning new technologies
  • 3+ years of experience with Hadoop, including experience with technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Druid and Presto
  • Relevant Hadoop Certification (e.g. HDPCD, HDPCA, CCA, CCAH,)
  • Proven track record developing distributed solutions that support large, complex datasets
  • Deep understanding of the concepts and technology ecosystem around both real-time/streaming and batch processing in Hadoop
  • 5+ years of experience working in Linux/Unix environment

Education:

BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science or related discipline
