Job description

For our Client, the largest telecommunications operator in EU, who is opening a new office in Warsaw to meet its increasing demands, we are currently looking for candidate for the position of: Business Development Lead and Consultant for banking domain.

Role Summary

  • Ability to create entry-level value propositions at senior exec/CIO level customers to demonstrate key areas of business value to generate cloud related opportunities
  • Proactively hunt for target organizations across the industry sector (Banking) to provide business consulting, IT & engineering solutions using our services
  • End to End’ pursuit participation to ensure strong vertical / industry insights and solutioning know-how is established all through the pursuit
  • Meet and exceed sector specific revenue targets as defined. Achieve profitability, contribution, and collection norms and create a business plan applicable for the geography, demonstrating your knowledge of the industry, partners and forums that will create the required visibility
  • Demonstrate sales acumen through the rigor of sales strategy definition and creation, ability to quantify and qualify accordingly
  • Build credibility, gain market share in the territory especially by getting more offshore Business. An Appreciation of the Global Delivery Model would be particularly an advantage
  • Experience required to manage complex and multi-threaded pursuits.
  • Work with pursuit teams to generate Proposals and Bid Responses and nurture the relationship
Requirements

Desirable Experience:

  • experience in selling cloud-based (ideally Azure) solutions
  • knowledge of cloud infrastructure and security technology principles and services
  • extended networking within the banking sector in Poland
  • ability to build trust-based relationships with customers and relevant experience
  • proven track record in delivering against revenue targets of multi-million Euros, with experience of selling project deals between $5-20M
