Common Candidate Questions

How do Candidates register in Grafton's database?
There are essentially two ways:

• Internet: By completing our registration form. If we have a position suitable for you we will call you and arrange a time for you to come in to have a personal interview (c/a. 30 minutes) with one of our consultants. In this interview you have the opportunity to discuss your employment expectations and ideas. The consultant can also answer any questions you may have about our services.
• Telephone call: Call us (+48 22) 654 46 46 and we will give you further information, and potentially arrange a time for you to come in for an initial interview.

How long does it take to find employment?
We cannot give you a definite timeframe because the search is different for each candidate, depending on experiences, education and the type of position you are looking for. The search lasts from weeks to months, but of course we try to offer employment opportunities as soon as possible. The process also depends on the positions we are working on at any given time, and on our client's circumstances - whether it is an urgent search,based on our experience, you should be registered and starting the search at least one-two months before you want to change, or find a new position.

How long do you remain in our database?
Once you have been interviewed, you will remain in our database until you ask to be removed.

What is the process for finding employment?
After you participate in an interview you become active in our database. From this time on it is very important that you remain in touch with your consultant. If your educational background, working experience, personality and skills meet the requirements of a position we have on our file, your consultant will call you, or send an e-mail telling you about the position. If you are interested in the position, the consultant will send your CV, together with a short description about you, to our client. The consultant will be in direct contact with the company, and will provide feedback to you.

What shall I do if I see a Grafton position advertised in the newspaper and I am already registered in your database?
Call your consultant to get more information about the position. If you meet the requirements, and are interested in the position your CV will be forward to the company.

How much does the service cost?
The Grafton service is gratis for the candidate.

Who are Grafton's clients?
Our clients are very diverse and range in size and structure. We currently have between 300-400 clients in our database. covering a wide variety of industry and commercial fields.

Do you have part time positions?
Grafton can offer you full time or temporary jobs. We do not, however, have part-time or week-end positions.

Are the salaries in our advertisements gross or net wages?
The amount indicated in our advertised positions is gross, unless stated otherwise.

What is the difference between headhunters and recruitment companies?
Headhunter's work is based on direct search. Recruitment companies -such as Grafton- work by building a database of candidates through advertising and therefore generally have a wider range of positions for you to choose from.
